I &hearts ....HEARTS!!

When I was a little girl, hearts were my favorite shape...and now that I'm about to have my own little girl, I think it has renewed my love of ♥♥♥♥s! Especially since I found this fabric, by Ann Kelle. I fell in with it as soon as I saw it. It is so '80's! She has other color schemes of this heart print, but these colors are my favorite. Hmmm...what else can I make?? :)

Heart apron for me! I found the red heart fabric at Hobby Lobby, I thought they went perfect together!!

Heart wipes case that I whipped up today. It was pretty easy, but OUCH! Hot glue is dangerous!

I swiped this heart seersucker fabric from my mom's stash before I even knew Lily existed! I can't wait to make a cute summer dress and bloomers! Won't that bring back '80's flashbacks?? (I think my mom has actually had it that long!)

When I saw that Gap had this line of clothes, I had to have it! But for a baby, I just couldn't justify spending so much...so I waited. And lucky for me, they are on clearance right now! Score!! Can't wait for Lily to wear these!

And who can forget the Care Bears and all their ♥♥♥♥s? I love me some Care Bears!!

Oh---if you think all this is cute, just wait until you see Lily's birth announcements, made by you-know-who!! :)

sarah + abraham

I stumbled upon this website/etsy shop, and I had to share!!

There are so many cute things to choose from. I'm considering getting birth announcements or some wall art for Lily's room from here. Each print is customizable with all different combinations of kids/hair color with a silhouette of your choice or olliegraphic print of your choice. So adorable!

Take a look!

Would you laugh at me if I handed you a 'Mommy calling card'?

Possible wall art for Lily!

Adorable carrying cases for the calling cards.

Organic Faith Studios

If anyone is in need of a family photo session, or a great photographer for a special occasion, you should really check out Kristin at Organic Faith Studios. Her photos are beautiful!

Not only can she take a picture, but she is also crafty! Kristin is a knittin' machine! She makes adorable stuffed animals, called KnitKnacks.

Take a look, aren't they precious? One of a kind.

This is one busy mama! Not only does she keep herself busy with knitting and photography, but she is a mother of 3! Twin boys and a little girl. I don't know how she does it!!

Say "Cheese"!!

Check out these awesome camera bags!! If you love photography...are a woman...a mom...carry a purse... a diaper bag...a camera (to capture anything and everything cute that your little one does)... then these are great for you!! How many times have I tried to downsize my load by carefully wrapping my nice camera in a blanket to carry in my purse or diaper bag, praying it doesn't get damaged? Too many times. I will definitely have to save for one of these, but I think they are really cute and stylish! I especially like the brown and teal one. They won't be ready until around Feb. 2010 I think, but you can pre-order them now.

New store for kids!

Even though I will be 27 tomorrow, and as my little sister likes to point out, I am not a teenager anymore, I still love to shop at American Eagle. I can't wear everything, but I love their jeans! Anyways...they now have a clothing line for kids!! It is called 77kids, for sizes 2-12. Yea! Can't wait to put Bobby in some of these outfits! There aren't any stores available at this time, but you can order online! Check it out!

My first ring sling!

Look what I got! I found this cute shop on Etsy, she can make the ring slings in whatever fabric you like. I love Amy Butler fabric, so I chose this Lotus Flower fabric. Not too girly, not too boyish either. This way I can use it if we have a girl next time. I think I need some sling'n practice, though. I'm not sure if Bobby liked it or not, although in the picture he is sleeping. I put him in the pouch sling I made, and he squirmed a lot more than in the ring sling. I will have to put him in it again to get him used to it.

I went on my very first outing with him all by myself today. We went to Target, he did really well, until we got back into the car to go home. He screamed his head off for about 5-10 minutes, then he gave up, and was as calm as could be for the rest of the ride home. We are trying to get him on a schedule, and for the most part, he is doing well. He is going through a growth spurt right now, so he is eating a lot!
