Round Top 2011

I know, I know...I've been away for awhile. That's what having 2 kids will do to you, I guess! I decided to end this blogging absence with some pictures of our trip to Round Top yesterday! We had a BLAST! It was Lily and Julie's first time, and the weather couldn't have been more perfect! I found some items to use for my very first craft show that I'll be doing in November. Here are some pictures from our fun day!

Round Top

Round Top was so fun this year!!
We got lots of goodies. Here are some pictures of my finds:

This house doesn't have as much storage in the kitchen as our other one, so I was looking for a shelf to store cookbooks and things on. I was in luck! I found these shelves (2 of them stacked together) for $8 each!! They aren't real 'antique' but you couldn't beat the price, and they are really cute and work perfect in this spot.











I found this table within 5 minutes of being at Marburger. It was such a good deal, the owner came off the price $25! I couldn't pass it up. I have been looking for an end table for our living room for some time now, and I finally have one!!








Rob and I had wanted to get some outdoor furniture for our new patio area at the house. I found these (there is another chair, too) right before we left. It was a good thing we brought my dad's truck!!

Our friend Courtney came to stay with us. She was our first house guest! We had so much fun. I really miss hanging out with her. We had a cookout Sunday night before she left, such fun!! The weather was beautiful. I love spring!! Except for my allergies!!

Round Top

Casey and I went to Round Top, TX this weekend for 2 days of antique shopping fun! We went on Friday, just the 2 of us, and then we went again with our mom on Sat., b/c she has never been. The weather was beautiful (a little warm though!) and we found some good stuff! There was a lot of fall/Christmas decorations, which I love. I even stayed way below my budget! You can't beat that. Here are some pictures from our weekend:
