Look what I got! I found this cute shop on Etsy, she can make the ring slings in whatever fabric you like. I love Amy Butler fabric, so I chose this Lotus Flower fabric. Not too girly, not too boyish either. This way I can use it if we have a girl next time. I think I need some sling'n practice, though. I'm not sure if Bobby liked it or not, although in the picture he is sleeping. I put him in the pouch sling I made, and he squirmed a lot more than in the ring sling. I will have to put him in it again to get him used to it.
I went on my very first outing with him all by myself today. We went to Target, he did really well, until we got back into the car to go home. He screamed his head off for about 5-10 minutes, then he gave up, and was as calm as could be for the rest of the ride home. We are trying to get him on a schedule, and for the most part, he is doing well. He is going through a growth spurt right now, so he is eating a lot!

Very cute sling! don't worry...it takes practice to get the hang of wearing babies. I thought evelyn hated it at first. Just give it a while and before you know it you will be able to put in him with your eyes closed!

great job on the sling/baby positioning! ring slings are my favorite for little bitty ones.
