It seems like that is all I do some days!! I am very busy sewing things for friends, family, and for Lily, too.
Seems like I'm not the only one having a baby! Many of my friends are welcoming little ones, most of which are boys. A few have had girls, and I had the pleasure of meeting little Leah Monroy this past week when I went to Sugar Land to visit friends and family. I made some soft stacking blocks for little Leah. She was so adorable!
Blocks...I got a chance to use my new tags that Casey made me!
I won't comment much on the trip, except that it was one of the hardest experiences I've had as a mom. We have been traveling a lot lately, and it seems to have finally caught up to little Bobby. He was a non-stop tantrum the entire week, and we ended up cutting our visit short to go home. Turns out all he needed was home. He has been his normal self ever since we walked in the door on Friday!

I also made some blocks for Kelly and her baby girl (due at the end of the month!) Carly. I just love the animal print I found.

I loved the print so much, that I used some of it to make a bib (along with another one) for Lily.

I just love it when you think of an idea, and it actually turns out good! My sister-in-law, Becky, requested some hanging towels for her new kitchen that she is sharing with my other sis-in-law, Vero. I made two for them. I think they look so cute! I may add some to my Etsy shop, so keep an eye out!

I did have some fun while in Sugar Land. Casey and I got a chance to sew a bit. I made some cute soft animals for Lily's room. Another idea that turned out cute!! They were super easy to make.
The paisley fabric in the background is the fabric I am going to use for Lily's room. As you know, I love paisley! Casey found this print on Etsy, and she knew it would be perfect for me. I can't wait for y'all to see all the ideas I have for her room! Don't worry, I'll keep you posted on my progress!!

Morgan you and Casey are so creative! Can't wait to see Lily in a cute girly swimsuit. :) xoxo
Morgan have you ever made any crowns? (Not to be worn, just like the other little animals you made, to go on a bed...)
Hmmmm...no, I haven't...but it doesn't seem like it would be that hard! So like a 'crown pillow'? Email me the details!
