This weekend, Casey(my very creative sister) and my mom (she is pretty creative herself, maybe that is where we get it from?!?) threw me my last baby shower! It was so much fun, Casey really out did herself. Unfortunately, the shower was postponed due to the hurricane, but like Casey said, Ike did us a favor! The weather was perfect for an outside party. The theme was ABC's, complete with ABC sugar cookies, and cute name tags. I had so much fun, thanks Casey and Mom!

Shower Decor--so cute! I love the balloons.
Everyone was to write a little note to me, but the advice had to start with notes with the letter they chose. Some of them were creative! For example, Jen chose 'X' and told me that x-rays on babies aren't fun! (speaking from personal experience??)

Sarah made me some bibs and burp cloths! They are so cute! I was pleasantly surprised that I got so many handmade gifts. Jen made me some shoes, my mom made me some stuffed animals and blankets, and my friend's mom and my grandma made me blankets too! I love getting gifts that are handmade! They are always a surprise, and one of a kind. Thank you everyone!

nope X was not from personal experience...I was just assuming. Though we did have to do a CT on a 4 year old...tile and heads...not a good mix either.
