I saw this idea for a lamp shade in a book about baby crafts that my mom has. Since I am doing the baby room in polka dots, I thought this would be perfect! It was so easy, just some buttons and hot glue!
I found this fabric at Hobby Lobby, and I could not go home without some! I made another nursing cover for myself. Now I have 2, just in case one gets spit up on!
I saw some TAGGIES at a department store, and I thought 'I can make that'! For those of you who haven't seen these, they are little security blankets with different textures of ribbons around them, resembling satin tags. Babies love to touch, rub and chew on tags, so you can see why these are popular. These things run about $25.oo in the stores and on-line, but I think mine cost $5.00, if even that much! (Jo Ann's is having a sale on fleece right now, just FYI!)
