New blog...new shop!

I hope everyone had a great extended weekend!! I, for one enjoyed my time off with my family. Rob had knee surgery last week (more on that later...), so we just stayed close to home, hanging out and relaxing. It was nice to not have anywhere to go. Rob is getting around a lot better, which is great!

Did y'all notice the new look for my blog?? What do you think?? I got my new header thanks to my very talented sister, Casey.

What's the occasion for?

Well....

after months and months of talking about it, I finally did it.

I opened my own ETSY SHOP!!! It is called 'just stitch.' If you are wondering why I chose that name, I wanted to come up with something with the word 'stitch' in it, to match my blog. I also had to come up with something that no one else on Etsy had yet. For some reason, I was thinking about a 'Will and Grace' episode (LOVE that show!!), where Jack has his one man show. (hehehehehe, cracks me up just thinking about it.) He called his show 'Just Jack!'. So I thought about 'just stitch.' No one else had that name yet, and Casey liked it, so the decision was made.

Right now, I have mostly baby items in the shop, but I hope to put one or two things in it a month. We'll see how it goes. I already have some people who have my shop down as favorites!! I was really excited when I found that out.
