Shopping Cart Cover

I went to my sister's sewing party on Friday night. It was so much fun. I got to make a shopping cart cover. I found a steal of a deal on some Amy Butler fabric at this cute little quilt shop by my office. Sarah helped me with the pattern since she is a pro at making these. It was my first time using bias tape, which wasn't that hard, just annoying at times. Over all it was pretty easy, but some parts were tedious!!

Pocket with toy loops.
I made this diaper bag using the most perfect paisly fabric. I made it for a gift for one of my friends. I enlarged the original pattern, and added 2 pockets to the inside. This bag is super easy to make. I love how it turned out. I have made this bag 2 times before, and this one turned out the best so far. The pattern calls for 3 matching fabrics, these came from Hobby Lobby.
I love this paisley!

Pockets for a bottle, diapers, or whatever!!
Sewing Machine Cover
Now, onto my favorite thing I made this weekend! A custom sewing machine cover!! I used some fabric I already had (no need to go to the store!), measured the plastic cover that came with the machine, and voile!! (Well, not really, but you get the picture!)
I used some left over bias tape and a zig-zag stitch for the opening for the handle. Much easier the second go-round!
