Our first Christmas as a family of 3!I hope everyone had a great Christmas and a happy New Year! This year, Christmas was extra special, because of Bobby, of course! It was also extra busy it seemed. I didn't quite get all my shopping done early this year, but that is ok, we got it done in the nick of time!
Christmas Eve day, Bobby laughed for the first time! I was changing his diaper and talking to him, and he just started laughing! I tried to get him to do it again, but no luck. That was Bobby's gift to me, I think. It was the cutest noise I have ever heard!!
We spent Christmas eve with my Dad, Casey, Jason, Michelle, and Brian. We had a good time hanging out with them. It was late, so Bobby slept through those festivities. Christmas morning, we went to my mom's house for lunch and gifts. Bobby slept through most of our time there too. (notice a pattern here?). Then we left my mom's house and drove to Laredo to spend time with Rob's family. It only took 4.5 hours, with 2 stops! (I think that is a record for us!). Bobby did really well during the car ride, he laughed 3 more times, all of which I was doing absolutely nothing, he just started laughing. So I have no idea how to make him laugh (believe me, I've tried), he just does it when he is ready.
We had a really great time with Rob's family. Guess what Bobby was doing while we opened presents? He was sleeping!! He officially missed all of the festivities for his first Christmas, but next year, I am sure he will be right in the center of it all! Later we played some Rock Band 2, which I had never played before, but it was really fun and kind of addicting!
