Sad Goodbye...

Go Red Raiders!

Michelle is leaving bright and early tomorrow morning for Lubbock, TX, where she will be attending Texas Tech. Tonight my dad's truck was loaded up with all her stuff. We won't see her again until Christmas, but I plan on hopefully being able to go for a visit before then. This will be the longest she will be away from us, and I will miss her terribly! There were some tears shed, and I know she will be homesick at first, but I also know that she is going to have a great time in college. Luckily, my aunt lives in Lubbock, she also works at Tech, so if she needs anything, there is family there.

She is all grown up now! She will be majoring in Advertising, and she is already part of a club/organization on campus. She is going to be helping people move in and get settled. That is why she had to go so early. Regular move in is on Saturday.

I can't wait to hear about all the fun she will be having, and hopefully she will be learning too. :)
