'Sew' many projects, 'Sew' little time!!

I have been sewing up a storm lately!! I recently attempted my first roman shade, and to my surprise, it wasn't as hard as I thought! Sonya was a big help, she answered all my questions and even helped me finish the shade. Thanks Sonya! Now that I know how to make them, I'm sure I will make many more.

I also have been busy with gifts for friends and family. The first of my gift projects was a nursing cover for my friend Cassie, who is having a baby boy in January!! I helped throw her a shower this weekend, more on that later.
This nursing cover is super easy to make, and I know I will be making more soon, with so many friends having babies. If you want to see how to use them, here is just one website that sells these nursing covers. Everyone at the shower was telling me I should sell these, and since they are so easy, I think that is a great idea! If you need a cute gift idea for a mom to be, just let me know, and I can make you one!!

Too Cute! I just got a sewing machine for Christmas! I'd love to learn how to make these hooter hiders and the baby slings!! I'd love to get together sometime so you can show me how to get started!
