We're back!! Our trip to San Diego was so fun! Rob and I got to spend time with his family for the first 2 days...
...and then they all went to L.A. while Rob and I got to "honeymoon"! It was really nice, since we didn't get a honeymoon after we got married. I think that was the most time we had ever spent together non stop!
We did so many things, we went to the San Diego Zoo, which was really cool, I saw a real live panda (2 of them!) and I now think my life is complete! (ha ha, not really) They are my absolute favorite animal, and I could not wait to see them. They are so cute, and I just wanted to hug them!
Then we went to Coronado Island, which was really pretty, and we went to the beach, of course!! The water was cold, but you got used to it pretty fast. The bed and breakfast we were staying at was really nice, and the couple who owned the house left us a cooler, chairs, an umbrella and a boogie board, which Rob and his brother, Mike had fun with.

b had never been horseback riding, so we did that, which was fun, but kind of scary. My horses name was Olivia. I was so sore after riding for an hour and a half! We also went to Tijuana, the Wild Animal Park (which is similar to the zoo, but many of the animals roam together, as if in their natural habitat) and we did lots of eating and shopping. We are so tired after our trip, but it was tons-o-fun!!
If you ever go to San Diego, I will tell you where we stayed, it was centrally located to everywhere we went, and cheaper than the hotels! The couple was really nice and helpful about restaurants and things to do.

Did they think it was weird that Rob is from Texas (thinkin' the 'stros cap and his t-shirt gave it away) and hadn't riden a horse before?

glad you had a good time! sounds like a lot of fun. I think I'd find Rob on a horse quite humorous......yes in deed.
and those pandas are cute!! too bad you couldn't hug em.
